For Me to Live is Christ

If you’re reading this blog I have one word for you today, Hope. This world has been turning in the chaos of uncertainty and fear can easily bargain for our peace. I can’t even begin to imagine how the residents of Hawaii feel as even the earth dares to end the reign of human beings living upon it as lava vomits a melody of earth’s revolution as the whole earth is vibrating under the weight of man’s curse.

There’s a fight for our souls and a war is waging against us to decrease the price that was paid for our release on the battlefield of offence and abuse.

As a child I was tossed onto the field of cruelties reduced give-aways for another’s depraved pleasures and I started to believe there’s a dark power in hurt that blast through a megaphone of sounds. When I look back on my life, it hurts I freely admit that. I have been abused, lost my place in death and have been betrayed by my closest friend. I have felt the full-measure of another’s sin upon my life and seen the cost of sin’s dagger clutched in my own right hand.

But God is the Lamb before me whose hands were empty of any wrongdoing, truly innocent and blameless who came to rescue me. Even if the Sun fell out of the sky, I know my Saviour lives and has redeemed me. I’m not saying I don’t feel the weight of the world sometimes, I am saying it bends me to my knees before the Lord. I’d rather have battle scars in the Lord’s army than ten thousand metals thrown into the fire of earth’s accomplishments.

You have the opportunity to change your life and walk the narrow path, there’s a promise no matter how many times you face landslides, falling rocks or fall into the raging rivers of fear’s roar there’s One strong enough to keep you. Trust Him. Let God use your right where you are.

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” – Philippians 1:21

I was made to Love God and it just doesn’t get any better than that. For me to live is Christ and to trust in His unfailing Love is my greatest gain. I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength and so can You!
